San Francisco Rock Project

The San Francisco Rock Project was born in June 2010, when a long-standing San Francisco-based music school’s closure was announced and the families could not find other programs that met their needs. The community rapidly established San Francisco Rock Project as a nonprofit corporation.

As a non-profit, all proceeds and profits from business operations and fundraising will be returned to the program, whether that means assisting with scholarships and tuition assistance, providing our staff members with benefits, purchasing better equipment for our students, or any other measures that will strengthen our program and our local community.
